PolyLevel™ Concrete Leveling & Lifting in Lansdowne

The sunken and cracked concrete around your Lansdowne home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.

Our experts use PolyLevel a superior polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled in the concrete, the foam is injected and the expanding foam lifts the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudslurry instead of foam. Mudslurry is heavier, require larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel. Call us today to learn more.

We live in a 2-1/2 story wood frame house with brick veneer on the first floor and wood siding on the upper floors. The basement (i.e.) foundation walls are of stone held together with mortar. The chimney is on one side of the house, is built of stone identical to the foundation walls of the house and is about 30-feet tall. The house was built in 1925 of full dimension lumber and sheathed with wood planks applied diagonally. Interior wall surfaces are of plaster. We have lived here for 45 years and the chimney has separated progressively from the house as the top of the chimney has moved away from the house. It may have moved as much as 6 inches at the top since it was first built. Since it seems to have been built leaning toward the house to begin with, the topmost part of the chimney now almost appears perpendicular to the ground plane. A local mason who repointed the stonework at the base of the house recently did not think that any special foundation was provided for the chimney when it was built. In addition, I believe that water draining downhill from yards behind us may be flowing under that end of the house and undermining the chimney. Anyway, every few years mortar applied between the house and chimney juncture breaks and a new 1/2", or so, crack opens anew indicating the chimney is still in motion. Your concept of drilling down to bedrock and installing extendable supports sounds like just the thing we need. Hopefully, you might be able to do the job without having to rebuild from scratch. Anyway, my wife and I would like an estimate of what we are looking at here to correct this problem. You should have be able to see the problem by using Google maps with its street view feature, also. Please have someone drop by and take a look. Bill Murphy 321 Lincoln Avenue Lansdowne, PA 19050

We have three basement windows in a finished basement and when it rains, one window well allows water in through the very old window well egress where it meets up with the brick exterior of the home. This last rain did our carpet in so before we replace that we need to get a new window well solution. House is 52 years old. Depending on price we may replace all three. Thanks.
