The owners of a Warminster home had an old basement window that was an eye soar to their home. Not only was their basement window unattractive from outside the home, but it was causing problems inside the home as well. They found that air was able to flow freely in and out of the window, even when they had it closed. As a result the owners were experiencing higher heating and air conditioning bills. After seeing before and after pictures at a home show in Valley Forge, they decided to schedule a free estimate with us to see potential solutions to their basement window problem.
Once our representative took a look at their basement window, he determined that the best solution would be to replace the window with a newer model. The old window wasn't properly sealed, which was why they were experiencing higher heating and air conditioning bills. The owner had one of two options: replace the entire window or insulate the old one properly. However insulating the old window wouldn't make it look any nicer from the outside, so the owners decided to replace the whole thing. Our representative suggested installing a new SunHouse Basement Window. This window not only fixed the problem but bounced much more light into the basement making it brighter and more inviting.
