BQ Basement Systems Case Studies: Sinking Front Steps in Media, PA

Monday, May 16th, 2016 by Steve Pompilio

This Media, PA homeowner just recently purchased a house and noticed the front steps were a major tripping hazard for their younger children. The steps weren't only sinking, but were also pulling away from the home, causing a gap between the front door and front steps. The homeowner saw one of our "concrete lifting" yard signs on his way home from work and reached out to us for a free estimate.

The homeowner wanted to use our PolyLevel injection system to fix his steps, the only question was whether or not this would be able to fix his steps. After our representative inspected the front steps he determined that PolyLevel could lift the front steps back into original position, closing the void between the front steps and front door. The following week our PolyLevel specialists were able to begin pumping Poly into his steps. In just three hours the crew had the steps lifted back into original position, and just fifteen minutes later the homeowners were able to safely use their front steps.
