General Comments: My sump pump has always pumped water throughout most of the year. The original installation used a secondary float switch on a tether to control the on/off position. I was/am concerned that the 1/3 hp pump turns on too frequently, and that the switch or the pump will burn out. I mentioned this to the sales rep and the installer. I agrred to wait and see how it progresses. I thas gone form every 45 seconds to every 3 minutes. Still concerned. Please have someone contact me to discuss this.

The Cleanup Process
Although the sump was installed in an area with exposed concrete floor because I had just removed the flooring in preparation for a new floor, I think they could have done a better job keeping the area clean. Note: They were, however, working in a situation where the sump was pumping a lot of water.
